The Psychoanalytic Society is the graduate organization of the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.
It was formed in order for graduates of the NYU Postdoctoral Program to have an ongoing relationship with the Institute and sustain themselves as members of their collegial community.
Members are the graduates, faculty, supervisors or candidates of the NYU Postdoctoral Program.
The Society is an independently incorporated, nonprofit organization whose purpose is promoting the professional, scientific, and educational welfare of graduates. It sponsors various activities that are of benefit to the membership, the psychoanalytic community and the public.
